Does anyone else feel that the whole "Hybrid" movement is disingenuous? My 2003 Honda Civic sedan regularly got nearly 38 mpg, and my Geo Metro could achieve 50 mpg. And yet automakers would have us believe that their Hybrids, which proudly proclaim 28-50 mpg, are the solution we've all be waiting for? This is pathetic.

Many fear that a nationalized public health care system will threaten consumer choice, namely choice of doctors and health care options, which will put individuals and families at risk. But all the choice in the world is worthless if it's inaccessible due to prohibitive costs.

What happens when conservative dogma, which exhalts the supremacy of privatization, conflicts with the competing constitutionalist tendencies toward national independence self reliance? Namely, how do conservatives defend the primacy of privatization while vitriolically opposing it in regards to our currency, a.k.a. the Federal Reserve?
